Job Specification

• 3-5 years experience in Treasury.


• A Bachelors Degree in Accounting or Finance preferable.

Salary Band

• 300 - 400k depending on the level and depth of experience

Responsibilities

• Oversee the general running of the Treasury Unit


• Maximize returns on investing Company's idle funds


• Liaise with banks for adequate funding lines at minimal cost


• Partner with CFO to secure other structured finance lines based on the company's strategic growth plan


• Ensure proper schedule of payables for the Company to meet its obligations as at when due


• Ensure proper authorization of payables and adequacy of supporting documents


• Ensure all taxes and other remittances are scheduled and paid as at when due


• Ensure proper maintenance and operations of the Company's bank accounts and facilities


• Ensure all payments and charges are accurate and in line with the Company's mandate


• Ensure proper maintenance and accuracy of all creditors and payable accounts


• Supervise the preparation of liquidity report and circulate for management information


• Oversee the running of the imprest account


• Maintain and reconcile suppliers' accounts


• Liaise with Banks for the completion of Form M and the establishment of LCs


• Maintain loan book and post entries relating to loans and servicing of same


• Remit statutory returns: VAT, WHT, PAYE, CIT, Pension
