Job Description
- Reporting to the Manager, Business Development, this role is responsible for building client relationship and generating leads, whilst being trained and coached to transition into the Account Manager role.
- Key Duties & Responsibilities
- Generating leads, Prospecting/Cold Calling
- Actively engage with new and prospective clients to identify new opportunities
- Identify decision makers and consciously build relationship with them
- Schedule meetings and manage meeting calendars
- Articulate the services and solutions to clients; including tailoring it to client's needs
- Meet set quarterly targets
- Grow clientele base; attend events, exhibitions, etc.
- Assist to boost sales growth and sales
- Conduct market research, share insight and develop business strategies
- Work closely with Account Managers
Experience, Education and Skills
- Bachelors degree in relevant discipline
- 1-2 years experience in sales/business development from any industry
- Understands the art of sales and passionate about the sales profession
- Highly personable; outgoing and engaging personality, attractive professional appearance
- Strong verbal and written communication.
- Good presentation skills for business reports
- Ability to organize and conduct purposeful Departmental/ Unit meetings
- Ability to develop and maintain business relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Strong administrative skills
- Able to use properly MS Word, Excel and Power-point
