Job Description



Objective



  • To ensure strict adherence to internal policies and procedures, controls, regulations and maintenance of quality service delivery within the company.


Responsibilities



  • Participate in the monthly, quarterly and annual inventory checking exercise.

  • Ensure control management regarding financial reliability and compliance by making sure that directions and regulations are strictly adhered to.

  • Prepare and presents reports that clearly reflects the audit results.

  • Obtain, analyze, and evaluate accounting documentation and data.

  • Assist to document the audit process, files and prepares audit findings

  • Check and verify all accounting records in conformity with industry standards, best practices, and corporate guidelines.

  • Ensure total compliance with regulatory guidelines and internationally accepted auditing standards.

  • Point out loopholes in the policies and procedures and bring it to the notice of the senior auditor within the least possible time frame allotted.


Requirements



  • A good First Degree in Accounting or Economics.

  • Minimum of 2 years experience in a manufacturing sector will be highly appreciated.

  • Basic knowledge of accounting and auditing procedures.

  • Ability to uphold and abide by the ethics of the profession

  • Good budgeting knowledge

  • Excellent Communication Skills (written and oral)

  • Excellent use of MS Excel and several accounting packages like Sage, Tally, Peach Tree, etc.
