Job Description



Responsibilities



  • Monitor cash transactions and plan for cash to be deposited at the bank daily or weekly.

  • Reconciles financial discrepancies by collecting and analyzing account information.

  • Maintains financial security by following internal controls.

  • Prepares payments by verifying documentation and requesting disbursements.

  • Prepares financial reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information and trends.

  • Responsible for making VAT payments when due.

  • Prepare an accurate record of daily expenditures for the company.

  • Review inventory of automobile parts, purchases, and reports submitted by the Inventory/Logistics Officer.

  • Participate in regular team meetings to help identify process flow improvements and efficiencies.

  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure billing accuracy.

  • Perform other tasks as assigned.


Requirement:



  • B.Sc. in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or any other related field.

  • Minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in a similar role.

  • Membership in a recognized professional body i.e., ICAN, ACCA will be an added advantage.)

  • Hands-on experience with Microsoft Office, Excel, and PowerPoint.

  • Good understanding of IFRS and other relevant standards applicable to the automobile industry.

  • Experience with Microsoft Office Programmes (MS Excel and MS Word specifically.)

  • Proficient with the use of accounting software tools such as QuickBooks, Sage50, ORION, etc.

  • Report writing and presentation skills.
