Job Purpose
- The aim of the role is to source for new clients, generate business & income for the bank as well as supervise respective teams to ensure the Banks profitability.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Design and implement a strategic business plan that expands the company’s customer base and ensures its strong presence
- Own and hit/exceed annual sales targets within assigned territory and accounts
- Understand category-specific landscapes and trends, reporting on the forces that shift tactical budgets and strategic direction of accounts
- Develop a growth strategy focused both on financial gain and customer satisfaction
- Achieve growth within the Key performance indicators; liability and risk asset generation, account opening and income generation.
- Evaluate creditworthiness by processing loan applications and documentation within specified limits.
- Develop referral networks and cross-sell products and services to accomplish quotas
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent sales service
- Keep up to date with product information and accurately describe product features and benefits
- Build and promote strong, long-lasting customer relationships
- Identify emerging markets and market shifts while beingfully aware of new products and competition status
- Effectively communicate the value proposition through proposals and presentations
- Identify market trends and conduct market research to identify selling possibilities and evaluate customer needs.
- Actively seek out new sales opportunities through cold calling, networking and referrals
- Negotiate/close deals and handle customer complaints or objections.
- Expedite the resolution of customer problems and complaints to maximize satisfaction
- Continuously improve through feedback.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess a B.Sc / HND in Accounting, Finance or relevant field;
- Evidence of completion/ exemption of/from NYSC
- MCP certification is mandatory
Experience:
- Five (5) or more years of experience in a similar position, preferably in the financial industry
- Previous experience in a marketing capacity is strongly desired with Proven sales experience of consistently meeting or exceeding targets
- Thorough understanding of marketing and negotiating techniques
- Trend identification and product development

- Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels societal levels.
- Proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close
