Job Purpose
- Relationship Managers will be responsible for the advertisement, business development and income generation in line with the bank’s financial forecast and Key Performance Indicators.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Achieve growth within the Key performance indicators; liability and risk asset generation, account opening and income generation.
- Evaluate creditworthiness by processing loan applications and documentation within specified limits.
- Develop referral networks and cross-sell products and services to accomplish quotas
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent sales service.
- Keep up to date with product information and accurately describe product features and benefits.
- Build and promote strong, long-lasting customer relationships.
- Identify emerging markets and market shifts while beingfully aware of new products and competition status.
- Develop and execute strategic plans to achieve sales targets and to expand the bank’s customer base.
- Effectively communicate value propositions through proposals and presentations.
- Identify market trends and conduct market research to identify selling possibilities and evaluate customer needs.
- Actively seek out new sales opportunities through cold calling, networking and referrals
- Negotiate/close deals and handle customer complaints or objections.
- Expedite the resolution of customer problems and complaints to maximize satisfaction
- Continuously improve through feedback.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess a B.Sc / HND in relevant fields
- Evidence of completion/ exemption from NYSC
Experience:
- Previous experience in a marketing capacity is strongly desired with Proven sales experience of consistently meeting or exceeding targets
- Thorough understanding of marketing and negotiating techniques
- Trend identification and product development
Skills:
- Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels societal levels.
- Proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills
- Strong business sense and industry expertise
