Job description

Rayuwa bakery limited is looking for bakers with experience in baking of bread and pastries(chicken pie, meat pie and other pastries). The baker shall perform the following functions

• Weighing and ,measuring ingredients for the preparation of bread and pastries


• Work with the management team to develop and improve standard reciepe


• Supervise, evaluate, train and schedule work of bakery staff


• Measure, mix and bake dough to produce a vast variety of bread, cakes, and pastries


• Follow strictly the standard operating procedure especially the set reciepes


• Ensure timely requisition of raw materials and production of bread and other bakery products as may be specified by the employer using FIFO inventory system


• Cleaning work area and equipment


• Carrying out routine and unplanned maintenance on toolls and equipment and packaging finished goods.


• Order and arrange for correct ingredients, supplies and equipment using computerised system


• Engage in the sales and marketing of the company's products as the situation may arise


• Perform any other necessary tasks that may be required in fulfilling the company's objectives
