Job Summary

• We are looking for a Skilled Auto Mechanic to fix vehicles and replaces their parts for our customers, repair the vehicle's mechanical components, diagnose problems with cars/trucks, and perform maintenance work on them as well.


• To excel in this role you must be well-versed in complex mechanical or electrical systems of vehicles and have excellent problem-solving abilities, and be a good communicator to provide advice to customers.

Responsibilities

You will have the following responsibilities but are not limited to:

• Inspecting vehicle engine and mechanical components to diagnose issues accurately.


• Inspecting vehicle computer and electronic systems to repair, maintain and upgrade


• Conducting routine maintenance work (replacing fluids, lubricating parts, etc.) aiming at vehicle functionality and longevity.


• Scheduling future maintenance sessions and advising motorists on good vehicle use


• Repairing or replacing broken or dysfunctional parts and fixing issues (e.g. leaks)


• Providing accurate estimates (cost, time, effort) for a repair or maintenance job


• Keeping logs of work and issues,


• Maintaining equipment and tools in good condition.


• Communicating clearly and concisely to customers.


• Providing customers with estimated time and cost for repairs.


• Completing job reports.

Requirements and Skills

• OND / B.Sc / Certification from a Vocational School or completion of an apprenticeship is a plus.


• Proven experience as an Auto Mechanic.


• Excellent knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and electronic components of vehicles.


• Working knowledge of vehicle diagnostic systems and methods.


• Ability to handle various tools.


• Willingness to observe all safety precautions for protection against accidents, dangerous fluids, chemicals, etc.


• Excellent physical condition.


• Good critical reasoning abilities.


• Strong verbal and written communication skills.


• Ability to manage and handle multiple tasks.
