Job Description

• The Compliance Officer monitors and ensures adherence to supplies and orders, defined standards and operating procedures by the purchase department.


• The jobholder patrols and monitors the activities of supplies across assigned locations, drives and ensures strict compliance with company standards for operational excellence; escalates issues, threats or infractions and engages appropriate officers for prompt resolution; and provides reports and updates on assigned locations.

Responsibilities

• Draft and revise company policies


• Proactively audit processes, practices and documents to identify weaknesses


• Evaluate business activities to assess compliance risk


• Collaborate with external auditors and HR when needed


• Set plans to manage a crisis or compliance violation


• Keep abreast of internal standards and business goals


• Create sound internal controls and monitor adherence to them.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess an ND / OND in any discipline


• Minimum of 5 years working experience in a retail setting.
