Job Description



The Head of Finance is accountable for the financial and risk management operations including the development of financial strategy, metrics tied to that strategy, and the ongoing development and monitoring of control systems designed to preserve the company assets and report accurate financial results



KEY ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES:



  • Oversees all company accounting practices, preparing budgets, financial reports, tax, and audit functions.

  • Directs financial strategy, planning, and forecasts, conferring with the management and other department heads.

  • Effectively relate the company’s financial performance to the Board of Directors and Shareholders.

  • Oversee the preparation of all financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, reports to shareholders, tax returns, and reports for government regulatory agencies.

  • Oversee Finance departments, budget preparation, and verification functions. Meets regularly with unit heads to keep informed and to offer direction.

  • Supervise investment of funds; works with banks and/or investment bankers to raise additional capital as required for expansion.

  • Ensure that all relevant insurances are in place and represent value for money with employees familiarized with policies ensuring that claims are made as necessary.

  • Ensure synergy within account and other departments at DO.II Designs Limited.

  • Ensure DO.II Designs Limited’s compliance to all her statutory obligations


ACADEMIC QUALIFICATION



  • Hold a Post-Graduate Degree (MBA Preferred)

  • ACA /ACCA


WORK EXPERIENCE



  • A minimum of 10 years progressive experience within a fast-moving and dynamic business environment.
