Job Description
This position is in constant touch with Marketing and strongly collaborates with various departments (Commercial performance, R&D, Medical Affairs, Regulatory Affairs, Finance, Customer Service, Operations…) and with leadership levels in regions, to set-up a world class Data & Software practice and to support the commercial leaders in executing bioMérieux Data & Software strategic plan.
Responsibilities
Support the Marketing, Commercial Performance and Sales executives in regions to reach their Data & Software objectives by
- Sharing best practices
- Augmenting the effectiveness level of the Data & Software sales teams in 5 regions representing more than 45 countries
- Refining the sales Data & Software operative mechanisms
- Collaborate with Commercial excellence and commercial leadership to recommend, define and deploy programs to increase bioMérieux Data & Software effectiveness level.
- Regularly be on the field with the sales team to accelerate Data & Software sales learning curve or support large scale opportunities.
- Unlock the business full potential of Data and IT
- Map current Data & Software opportunities with Marketing & Sales teams
- Enhance Global/Regional/Local Data & Software sales process to industry standards
- Contribute to the sales & marketing framework to support the Data & Software commercial leaders
- Collaborate with Marketing to propose improvements to Data & Software sales pricing & compensation schemes
- Collaborate with Commercial Performance and Marketing to fine-tune Data & Software skills evolution.
Skills
- Strong knowledge of the complex B2B Data & Software sales process for Health Delivery Organizations.
- Proven experience in collaborating with sales leaders, deep understanding of all aspects related to sales position, prospecting, closing, pipeline & customer management, pricing, sales compensation for Data & Software
- Strong influencing and cross functions collaboration skills: matrix organization, multi-cultural environment, global/regional/local approaches
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Ability to work with high degree of autonomy in demanding and result oriented environment
- Master degree in Business Management and/or Computer Science
- 10+ year-experience in direct and indirect sales, to increase Data & Software funnel size and conversion rates.
- Experience in the Software & Data Insights business for healthcare, life science, diagnostic or medical device industry
- Knowledge of Salesforce.com and analytics tools preferred.
