Job Description
Your main duties as a Facilities Management Supervisor at FiberOne will be to coordinate, direct, report on, manage, and put into place an efficient maintenance schedule for our facilities, which will enhance our operations and procedures. Through prompt processing of requests and transactions, the individual will support the effective and efficient delivery of facility management services.
Responsibilities
- Supervise all procurement transactions related to facility management, from initiation to completion.
- Provide inputs to the preparation of the facilities management and maintenance budget
- Track and monitor costs to ensure compliance with the unit’s budget.
- Log and analyze all facility management and maintenance requests.
- Assist in the acquisition and/ or leasing of facilities to meet the company’s identified residential and/ or office needs.
- Assist in ensuring that facility management activities are in line with defined health, safety and environment (HSE) standards and legislation.
- Plan and coordinate installations and refurbishments e.g. heat, electricity, water, etc.
- Coordinate maintenance of all appliances
- Manage the upkeep of equipment and supplies to meet health, safety, government and environmental standards
- Procurement of office items especially admin and cleaning tools at best prices
- Ensure the safety and security of facility before closing for the day
- Ensure the office is opened early in the morning and all facilities are operating as expected
- Inspect the buildings' structures to determine the need for repairs or renovation
- Supervise all facilities staff (cleaners, security, groundskeepers, technicians, etc.) and external contractors
- Planning and forecasting future needs or repairs
- Agree and oversee contracts with providers of service(s)
- Create and manage a facility budget (including costs for repairs and procurement)
- Procurement of office items especially admin and cleaning tools at best prices
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in any relevant discipline.
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in Facilities / Operations Management.

- Quality/standards awareness and implementation,
- Strong customer service and organizational skills required
- Attention to detail is compulsory
- Proficiency with computers including Microsoft Office; Google Office Suite and web-based applications preferred
