George Houston is seeking to recruit suitably qualified & experienced Rig Mechanic for her client, a reputable Engineering Construction and Oil & Gas Servicing company Located in  Port Harcourt, Rivers State. 

JOB DUTIES 

• Ensures that all the operating machines are functional and in good working condition.


• Troubleshoot and rectify any malfunction of the HWU.


• Keep records of the periodic running of all static equipment.


• Work with the field engineer to ensures the availability of critical spare parts.


• Check day to day running of all static equipment.


• Responsible of issuance of diesel in the location.


• Carry out day to day check and gauge the level of hydraulic in the various reservoir tanks.


• Leads in the stripping of the BOPs when malfunctioning.


• Connects the hydraulic hoses during rig up.


• Ensures hourly, weekly, monthly, quarterly and yearly checks on all the equipment are duly carried out.

 QUALIFICATION 

• Degree in Engineering 


• Knowledge on Well Service machines and equipment


• 5 years’ experience in field of application 


• IWCF Level 2 & HSE


• Minimum Experience: 5-7 years’ experience on the job.
