Job Description

• Perform routine procedures (blood pressure measurements, administering injections etc.) and fill in patients’ charts


• Administer patient’s medication and provide treatments according to physician’s order.


• Provide the best possible care and advice by monitoring patient’s condition and assessing their needs


• Assist surgeons during operations.


• Setting up intravenous (IV) drips and providing ongoing care to patients


• Educating and advising patients and families on health issues and well-being


• Providing emergency care to patients with health complications


• Helping to prevent the spread of infectious diseases, like hepatitis and flu


• Assisting elderly members of the community in managing chronic health issues


• Conducting health education programs for the local community

Requirements

• Interested candidates should possess relevant qualifications


• Candidates with valid practicing license can apply for the position.


• Applicants must have 2 - 4 years’ experience


• Diploma or a certification in nursing is an added advantage

Other requirements

• Maintain patient confidentiality at all times.


• Strong Knowledge of Healthcare.


• Good communication skills.


• Ability to carry out Physical assessments of patients.
