As a Sales Manager, you will work with the Head of Sales to generate revenue for the organization.
You will also ensure that sales executives / officers are productive and demonstrate high sales performance to meet customer acquisition and revenue targets.
Job Objectives
Hit individual sales targets
Generate ‘sales qualified leads’ consistently
Design and implement a strategic business plan that expands the company’s customer base
Report weekly sales activities/leads to the Head of Sales and regularly update the company’s Sales CRM tool
Key Accountabilities
Work with the Head of Sales to devise strategies and techniques necessary for achieving the sales targets
Manage and coach the sales executives for maximum productivity
Design and implement a strategic business plan that expands the company’s customer base
Lead the sales team to achieve individual targets and departmental goals
Build and promote strong, long-lasting customer relationships by partnering with them and understanding their needs
Training of new sales executives/officers
Own recruiting, objective setting, coaching, and performance monitoring of sales executives/officers
Responsible for not only selling but also ensuring a smooth handover of concluded deals to the Customer Success Team
Requirements
Candidates should possess an HND / B.Sc qualification
At least5 years of experience working with B2B including extensive experience in Business development, revenue generation, growth, and Nigerian market
B2B sales experience in the SaaS industry will be an added advantage
Proven experience in consistently meeting or exceeding targets in previous employment
Proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close
Strong business sense and sales expertise
Good Knowledge of HubSpot and Microsoft office tools
Soft Skills:
Excellent mentoring and people management skills
Vast sales experience in South West and Northern regions of Nigeria is greatly desired
Great leadership skills

Great convincing and negotiation skills
Ability to multi-task, set priorities and manage self and others
