Job Position: MEP Engineer (Electrical)

Location: Lagos

REQUIREMENTS

• B.Sc/B.Eng/HND in Electrical Engineering from a reputable higher institution of learning with 4years experience in the MEP industry.


• Should be self-motivated and accustomed to working alone with minimum supervision;


• Must possess good report writing skills


• Must be proficient in the use of AutoCAD.


• Should possess sound knowledge of Microsoft Office packages (Word, Excel and Powerpoint).

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Designing layout of energy distribution, water pipes and ventilation systems and identifying relevant materials


• Drawing up plans using computer – aided design


• Carrying out tests on systems and making changes to plans where necessary


• Monitoring/Managing the installation of services and managing their maintenance once the building is completed.


• Making sure that all building services meet health and safety requirements and environmental legislation.


• Negotiating contracts with clients


• Liaising with electricians, plumbers, civil engineers, architects and other construction professionals.


• Giving presentation and writing reports highlighting the practical implications of architects designs


• Promoting energy efficiency and other sustainability initiatives.

SALARY RANGE – N120,000.00 – 140,000.00
