Lay the foundation for the self- development of each student through the study of budgeting, saving and wealth creation.
Pay attention to the empowerment of the students
Should have monthly action plans for the trainees and for himself / herself.
Should venture into other skills and training outside agriculture such as ICT and other skills.
Organize periodic trainings/ workshops for interested persons and organizations/Parishes.
Collaborate with other departments
Seek for available financial support and grants to assist the students and to improve the activities of the school ( this must be done at least twice in a year)
See to how the students can be linked with agents that can assist with loan facility
See to support of the feeding of the students
Develop content expertise and share the importance of modern day agricultural practices.
Assisting Students with home/ field works, projects, test preparation
Researches on new innovation on agribusiness
Help students learn and understand new concepts
Teaching skills to improve the performance of the students
Conducting practice tests to track progress identify areas of improvement and help set goals for the students.
See to the welfare of the students
Inspect the students’ Hostel regularly
Plan towards sustaining/stabilizing the school ( by generating funds from farm produce)
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Level or equivalent in Agricultural Business Management.
Excellent Written and Oral Communication Skills.
An entrepreneurial & Innovative mindset.
Familiarity with business principles, practices, and methodologies.
Educational background in technology and/or business-related field.
