Job Description

• Responsible for preparing lesson plans and learning resources


• Deliver lessons in your subject area and reach students with engaging lesson plans.


• Responsible for facilitating learning in your subject area, assigning and grading homework, tests and all other forms of assessment approved by the school, documenting progress and providing feedback to students and the school.


• Supervise classes to ensure all students are learning in a safe and productive environment.


• Identify and document students’ learning abilities and present lessons in a comprehensive manner, effectively incorporating appropriate multiple intelligence learning theory in teaching and learning to meet their learning needs.


• Deliver personalized or group guides to the student(s) who do not understand a concept in class.


• Plan and implement educational activities and school events when required.


• Maintain control of the class and ensure your class is tidy at all times.


• Prepare and distribute periodic progress reports and end-of-term report cards.


• Attend parent-teacher meetings.


• Observe and understand students’ behaviour and psyche and report suspicions of neglect, abuse etc.


• Prepare and submit periodic reports as required by the school(weekly, monthly, termly)


• Participate in co curricula activities


• Carry out assigned school activities that aid learning.

• Bachelor’s degree in Education, in relevant subject


• Professional qualification is added advantage


• In-depth knowledge of teaching methods and legal educational procedures.
