Our client is a conglomerate that participates in many areas of the economy; technical products and leasing services, almarine, properties, shipping services, construction, and exports and processing. With several decades of operations in the Nigerian economy, the company is positioned as the leader in all its areas of operations. As part of expansion, the company is now seeking to recruit a National Service Manager.


Reporting to the General Manager, you will coordinate and supervise branch Service Managers Nationwide, assist Service Managers achieve one-time troubleshooting at site when consulted and ensure they achieve revenue generation target for service weekly.


Responsibilities



  • Hold weekly online technical hour meetings with the Service Managers to achieve effective performance and deal with complaints and challenges at the branches.

  • Prepare quarterly Service Department Budget

  • Secure new corporate SLA customers

  • Sustain the existing service customers and win more

  • Sustain holistic maintenance approach

  • Ensure cost effective, repairs, overhauling, installations and hitch free commissioning processes

  • Strive to achieve volume services

  • Increase Data base in SLA/Pay as you go and in turn return to profitability

  • Enhance Revenue Generation.


Requirements



  • Bachelor’s Degree in engineering, administration or facility management

  • Minimum relevant experience of 10 years in a supervisory role

  • Working knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems

  • Familiarity in drafting and understanding blueprints and schematics

  • Effective communication and people management skills

  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment

  • Previous sales and management experience may be advantageous.

  • Strong industry knowledge.

  • Excellent leadership, communication, sales, and customer service skills.

  • Computer literacy and good organisational skills.

  • Strong creative thinking and problem-solving skills.

  • The ability to work under pressure and handle stress.
