Fan Milk PLC is looking for a Demand Planner to implement the company’s competitive strategy of speed to market in other to meet customers demand promptly through efficient planning and forecasting and positive impact on Operations of DANONE Nigeria.

The successful candidate will:

• Be responsible for contributing in all parts of the GPS Process and planning functions within the operations for the whole of DANONE Nigeria.  This includes Short, Mid, Long term Demand planning and forecasting, finished goods shipment requisition, stock redeployment planning and identifying risk and opportunity to ensure the business meets all commitments to provide products to customer.


• Ensure efficient inventory management i.e. the flow of finished goods in line with requirements at warehouse, without excessive stock or OOS.


• Follow up on all orders and shipments from DNAO


• Develop demand forecasts (operational forecasts) at multiple levels of aggregation for multiple time horizons as part of a demand planning function.


• Develop concepts and coordinate product knowledge in other to anticipate customer demand.

The ideal candidate should have:

• Relevant Bachelor’s Degree


• Minimum of 2years experience as production planner/demand planner /inventory planner in an FMCG manufacturing environment


• Knowledge of supply chain processes and best practices


• Excellent Microsoft Office skills


• Good analytical skills


• Forecasting and Planning skills essential
