Job Summary

• IT Manager at Alert Microfinance Bank is a critical role and the idea candidate will be responsible to oversee the organization-wide systems and information.


• The role involves maintaining the day-to-day operational stability and security of IT software and hardware.

Job Description

Product Management:

• Oversee the operational configuration of existing banking software (BankOne).


• Manage relationship with external software vendors.


• Design promotional materials and management of company website.


• Establish IT policies and systems to support the implementation of strategies set by management.


• Develop and interpret organizational Information technology policies, and procedures.

Hardware and Software Resources:

• Manage all hardware and software installations and faults across branch


• Management of IT facilities and equipment’s to ensure steady uptime of IT resource in the organization


• Consult with users, management, vendors, and technicians to assess computing needs and system requirements.


• Provide users with technical support for computer problems.

Networking:

• Monitor and install LAN/Wireless Networks, Implementation configuration and administration of systems on the network.


• Configure, monitor, and maintain email applications or virus protection software.

Security:

• Implementation and enforcement of IT security policies.


• Ensure security of Web, mobile applications and network resources.


• Manage backup, security and user help systems.


• Plan, coordinate, and implement network security measures to protect data, software, and hardware.


• Develop computer information resources, providing for data security and control, strategic computing, and disaster recovery.


• Configure, monitor, and maintain email applications or virus protection software.

Requirements

• Minimum of B.Sc or HND in related role.


• Minimum of 5 years cognate experience in a Microfinance Bank as Head of INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY is a MUST.


• Extensive experience with the use of BankOne Software and excellent networking skill.


• Strong communication, interpersonal and analytical skills.


• Demonstrates ability to identify problems.

Skills:

• Tech Savvy.


• Very proficient with the use of BankOne Software.


• Cyber security and block chain proficiency.


• Excellent Networking Skill (LAN/Wireless Networks).
