Job Description
The project assistant role is to actively provide support and create balance in the time and scope of executing projects under the direct supervision of the project director in an establishment.
He/she will carry out administrative duties by collecting data, sorting, filing and sending out project files to the right personnel, workers, and stakeholders.
KEY RESPONSIBILITY AREAS:
- Writing letters and send them to appropriate bodies, and receive incoming mails
- Creating specific strategies for easier and effective execution of projects
- Maintain contacts with potential stakeholders who may be interested in investing in projects
- Drafting project proposal ideas and present them to the director with convincing proof for approval
- Intermediate between the director and other workers to prevent agitations that may hinder the smooth flow of project execution
- Collaborate in the development of forms, questionnaires and the application of protocol for data management and analysis
- Supporting the writing of publications and posting on all social media platforms, as assigned
- Liaising between Technical and Business groups of the Project
- Preparing Business Development documents
- Assisting in the development and maintenance of project documentation, including project plans, status reports, meeting minutes, and presentations
- Helping to track project milestones and deliverables, ensuring that deadlines are met and tasks are completed according to schedule
- Drafting project budget on a monthly basis and ensure that it meets all necessary protocols
- Conduct research and data analysis to support project-related decision making
EXPERIENCE / QUALIFICATION:
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, communications, or related field
- 2-5 years professional experience in an administrative role
- Exceptional organizational skills and multitasking ability
- Proven written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, with aptitude to learn new software and systems
- Social media savvy
- Ability to pay attention to detail
- Ability to solve problems
- Ability to manage time effectively.
- Flexible schedule and willingness to work overtime when needed
