We are looking for a IT support who can double as an staff junior software (Laravel) developer providing technical support and ensuring the whole company runs smoothly with good understanding of how to provide end-user support and comfortable with both front and back end programming.
You will be responsible for providing end-user support to the staff of the organisation, managing its infrastructure both and developing web application, ensuring the responsiveness of applications, writing clean code and scalable algorithms.
Responsibilities
Installing and configuring computer hardware, software, systems, networks, printers, and scanners
Monitoring and maintaining computer systems and networks
Responding in a timely manner to service issues and requests
Providing technical support across the company (this may be in person or over the phone)
Setting up accounts for new users
Repairing and replacing equipment as necessary
Testing new technology
Developing front end website application.
Ensuring responsiveness of applications.
Seeing through a project from conception to finished product.
Designing and developing APIs.
Meeting both technical and consumer needs.
Staying abreast of developments in web applications and programming languages.
End-user support
DB administration

Requirements
The candidate must be a B.Sc. graduate with either of the following disciplines: Computer Science, Information Technology or any other related course.
Good understanding of ITIL in principle particularly in the Service Operation space, covering Service Desk, Incident Management, Problem Management and Knowledge Management.
Good knowledge of desktop operating systems (Windows) and associated hardware and software (MS Office, MS Project, Visio) necessary to install and support users from an operational perspective.
Passionate about customer service and ability to handle challenging customer conversations.
Strong organizational and project management skills.
Proven Laravel developer with at least 1-year experience.
Proficiency in fundamental front end languages such as HTML, CSS and JavaScript.
Proficiency in server-side languages such as Python, Ruby, Java, PHP and .Net.
Familiarity with database technology such as MySQL, Oracle, and MongoDB.
