Due to an increased demand for our services, we are recruiting experienced Project Engineers for Power Generation and Distribution Power System Enhancement Projects.

Role: Accountant 

We are looking for an accountant to aid in all financial transactions, from fixed payments and variable expenses to bank deposits, budgets and management of reporting to statutory agencies.

Responsibilities:

The candidate’s responsibilities will include:

• Preparing monthly and annual financial statements.


• Preparing annual budget, analysing and reporting on monthly budget variances.


• Assisting in auditing financial documents and procedures, reconciling bank statements and calculating tax payments and returns.


• Responsible for returns to federal and state inland revenue services.


• Monitoring receivables and following up with overdue accounts.


• Providing accurate quantitative information on financial position, liquidity and cash flows while ensuring compliance with all tax regulations. 

Requirements/Qualifications 

• Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting. ICAN certified is an added advantage


• Not less than 5 years hands-on accounting/finance and bookkeeping experience with a flair for spotting numerical mistakes. 


• Strong understanding of accounting principles and experience preparing financial statements.


• Thorough knowledge of general ledger accounting and accounting reconciliation.


• Strong analytical and problem solving skills.


• Experience and competent with using accounting software.


• Strong computer skills with proficiency in Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.


• Excellent organisation and interpersonal skills to communicate effectively across the organisation.


• Highly detail-oriented


• Strong personal integrity


• Team player able to work independently without supervision
