Job Description



The candidate for this position will excel at creating and closing new opportunities. By using a consultative approach to selling, you will be speaking with potential new customers, understanding their tuition requirements, and finding the perfect tutor for their child. You will work closely with the Head of Sales to rapidly grow Edukoya’s tutoring services in a repeatable and scalable way.


Key Responsibilities



  • Call parents about their child’s educational requirements and explain how Edukoya’s online tutoring can help to plug any gaps in knowledge.

  • Understand the needs of the students, pair them with the ideal tutor and organize trial sessions.

  • Familiarize yourself with our product so you can ensure the families you speak with are paired with the perfect solution based on their specific needs.

  • Identify the best package or subscription for each new family and work quickly to close the deal so you can hit or exceed your target.

  • Help your new customers make the best possible use of our platform and introduce them to our Customer Success Team.

  • Share tips and tricks with your colleagues and bring new ideas to improve our product and internal and sales processes.

  • Use a customer relationship management tool to log all your calls and every interaction with parents


Qualification and Skills



  • Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s Degree / HND

  • 2-5 years sales experience in the tech/software, education, insurance or FMCG industry.

  • Experience and working knowledge of CRM systems

  • Demonstrable track record of over-achieving sales targets

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
