As video editing instructor you will be responsible for teaching students the technical and creative skills needed to edit video footage into a cohesive and engaging final product.
This may include topics such as video software and technology, storytelling through editing, and sound design.
The instructor may also be responsible for developing and implementing curriculum, assessing student progress, and maintaining a safe and organized learning environment.
In addition to teaching, a video editing instructor may also have practical experience in the field and may be asked to provide professional development opportunities for students or to serve as a mentor.
Strong communication and instructional skills, as well as a passion for the art of video editing, are important qualities for a successful video editing instructor.
Skills and Requirements
Interested candidates should possess an OND, HND or Degree qualification with at least 2 years work experience.
Above average skill in the usage of the following applications: Adobe Premiere Pro 2019-2023, Adobe Audition, Adobe Photoshop 2019 - 2022, DaVinci Resolve.
