Developing policies to handle delinquent accounts, including late fees, collections, and litigation when necessary
Monitoring current market trends to identify new risks that may pose threats to the company’s finances
Reviewing loan applications to determine if applicants meet criteria for creditworthiness
Recommending changes to improve existing lending practices or develop new lending programs
Determining the value of collateral offered by borrowers for loans or other financial products
Establishing pricing structures for new loans or other financial products based on risk levels and other factors
Working with lenders to determine appropriate interest rates for various loan types based on borrower creditworthiness
Analyzing risk exposure and recommending solutions to mitigate potential losses
Monitoring compliance with federal and state laws regarding lending practices such as fair housing laws, usury laws, and the Truth in Lending Act (TILA).
Requirements
Candidates should possess an HND / Bachelor's Degree with 2 - 5 years relevant work experience.
