The business development executive is a self-driven and proactive individual (male or female) who is responsible for deploying business development practices as obtained in the power industry including market research, market and business development strategies and proposal and presentation development to achieve defined goals based on the company’s strategic vision and goals.



Responsibilities



  • Developing and executing strategic marketing and business development initiatives.

  • Supporting strategic planning initiatives.

  • Proactively gathering and analyzing relevant market and industry trends data as required.

  • Actively pursuing, building, and maintaining relationships in the industry and community to generate and enhance business opportunities.

  • Reviewing and approving information for pre-qualification for projects.

  • Tactfully developing and maintaining client relationships.

  • Developing and maintaining strong, customer-focused relationships with key stakeholders and decision makers.

  • Making cold calls as required to obtain essential information or make initial contact.                                           


Qualifications



  • Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering.

  • Relevant post graduate degree(s) will be an advantage.


Requirements & Experience:



  • Experience with IPP

  • Basic Knowledge of low voltage power distribution

  • Basic knowledge of high voltage

  • Basic knowledge of transformers

  • Basic knowledge of 11kV distribution network and protection.

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in a related role.

  • Sound knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.

N1.6m – N2m gross per annum
