Job Title – Assistant Logistics Officer


Reports to – Logistics Officer


A fashion store is looking to hire an Assistant Logistics Officer responsible for supporting the coordination and delivery of items and ensuring that all products are moved in a timely and efficient manner from the place of origin to destination. The Assistant Logistics Officer could also be required to assist with procurement activities. 


Key Responsibilities



  • Coordinate the delivery of purchased items to the end customer in a timely and efficient manner.

  • Liaise between the store representatives, the social media manager, and the riders to ensure correct item(s) is/are delivered to the correct recipient(s) on time.

  • Keeps record of orders made and goods delivered and submit daily to the Store Manager list/pictures of pending items needed to fulfil any pending customer order.

  • Take pictures of goods delivered before delivery to ensure evidence of condition of goods

  • Properly package and label all items to be delivered

  • Check daily on order status until they are delivered

  • Handover items to be delivered to the company riders and track riders to ensure items are delivered to correct recipient

  • Constantly update customers with their tracking information once their order has left and follow up with customers to ensure correct items have been delivered

  • Liaise with the store manager, to ensure that correct items are processed and delivered to the correct recipient(s) on time.

  • Interact with 3rd party logistics providers as necessary

  • Ensure that all logistics processes are in line with the company’s policy on delivery of items

  • Submit daily, weekly, monthly reports as required to the Logistics Officer

  • Provide additional support as required to the Logistics Officer.


Key Requirements



  • Must stay around Lekki phase 1 and its environments

  • Minimum OND or HND/BSc

  • Up to 2+ years’ experience working in similar capacity

  • Good oral and written communication skills

  • Ability to use MS office suite is essential

  • Very good personal grooming and presentation

  • Flexible, punctual and reliable

  • Trustworthy and person of integrity

  • A high level of self-motivation

  • Ability to respect others and work well will people

  • Positive attitude and enthusiasm

  • Good organizational skills and the ability to effectively prioritize tasks

  • Excellence in service delivery, focus on quality and attention to detail

  • You may be required to carry out other duties which may arise from time to time.


Salary; N75,000 - N80,000
