Job Description
As the SSA Services Commercial Operations Manager, you will be responsible for:
- Leading the commercial team for Services, ensuring the overall effectiveness of global commercial processes, work instructions, quality and standardisation of proposals to Baker Hughes customer base.
- Working closely with Sales, Product Management, Engineering, supporting functions to develop solutions, which are optimal for customers and Baker Hughes.
- Providing leadership direction, implementing a robust operating rhythm, clearly setting goals, tracking performance, and developing talent, ensuring integrity and compliance
- Implementing strategies to secure high value, complex and strategically significant projects as well as long term frame agreements, and forthcoming renegotiations.
- Engaging with customers to identify growth opportunities for Baker Hughes, running campaigns with regional teams and developing commercial proposals
- Using the commercial costing, pricing, document management and other digital systems to ensure an efficient and simplified approach to managing workload

To be successful in this role you will:
- Have a Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma / GED) and have 5 years proposals experience.
- Be able to demonstrate project management skills and be experienced in project or program leadership
- Demonstrate advanced proficiency in Document Planning and Drafting, Contract Risk Management - Sourcing Agreements
- Have knowledge of legal aspects and implications of contracts, terms and conditions, negotiation, etc. to allow constructing contracts with minimizing risk
- Have exceptional knowledge and experience of tendering major international projects including pursuit strategies, bid compliance, proposal development, cost estimating and pricing
- Have a valid NYSC discharge or exemption certificate ( please indicate clearly on resume)
