Job Brief

• We are looking for an experienced Head of Security & Information Technology to oversee all IT (Information Technology) functions in our company.


• He will be in charge of a team of IT Staff and manage the company’s technology operations and the implementation of new IT systems and policies.


• An excellent Head of Technology must be very knowledgeable in IT and computer systems.


• Have a solid technical background while being able to manage and motivate people.


• The ideal candidate will be experienced in creating and implementing IT policies and systems that will meet objectives.


• The goal is to ensure IT systems and people are effective and functioning within the limits of budget, time, and specifications of the company.

Responsibilities

This position is responsible for optimizing and enhancing the company's software overall

performance and the following:

• Oversee all technology operations (e.g. network security) and evaluate them ac cording to established goals


• Devise and establish IT policies and systems to support the implementation of strategies set by upper management


• Analyze the business requirements of all departments to determine their technology need


• Purchase efficient and cost-effective technological equipment and software


• Inspect the use of technological equipment and software to ensure functionality and efficiency


• Logical Engineering of Products


• Automation


• Anti-Hack Analysis of Company's Technologies


• Custom Software Development (Mobile, Pc, and Web)


• Development of functional security policies.


• Staff Training


• Update on Security Changes and Effect on Operations


• Leading technical support across the company (this may be in person or over the phone)


• Coach and mentoring to junior Engineers


• Plan, coordinate and implement security measures to safeguard information against accidental or unauthorized damage, modification or disclosure;

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Banking & Finance, or similar.


• Master's Degree in a related field will be an added advantage


• Extensive experience in accounting, team management, and collaboration.


• Proficiency in documenting processes and monitoring performance metrics.
