Job Description

• We are currently recruiting for the position of a Pet Groomer in our organization. The desired candidate should have considerable skills and experience in pet grooming (baths, haircuts).

Job Responsibilities

• Conduct grooming which includes: bath, ear & anal gland cleaning, nail clipping, fur brushing and hair cut for pets.


• De-matting and detangling dogs as required.


• Identify and communicate any pet health issue to the medical department and client.


• Recommending grooming techniques/products to client.


• Ensure all working equipment’s are thoroughly cleaned and sterilized after use.


• Be prepared to handle any pet or facility emergency that may arise, including dog or cat fights, choking or strangulating animals, and facility fire or weather-related emergencies.


• Restrain pets in a manner that allows necessary work to be performed.


• Actively minimizes patient stress, and ensures their safety and that of other people.

Job Requirements

• Candidates should possess an OND in any field.


• Fair knowledge of pet grooming is an added advantage.


• Must be able to communicate effectively in english.


• A team player with a good sense of responsibility.
