The ideal candidate will be equipped with a relevant qualification and extensive experience in a wide range of marketing functions such as communications, digital marketing, advertising, branding and social media. To ensure success as a marketing officer, you must be an organized person who is able to withstand the pressure of handling varied tasks at the same time and meeting deadlines.

Key Responsibilities:

• Managing and developing marketing campaigns.


• Work with stakeholders to create a social media strategy that collaborates with marketing, PR, and advertising campaigns.


• Conducting promotional events and reporting on the effectiveness of the campaign(s).


• Create timely and engaging contents optimized for platform and intended audience.


• Monitor social media site for customer service opportunities and initiate/engaging conversations on behalf of client.


• Analyze and report social media actions and stats monthly for successes and new opportunities.


• Create engaging and processional visuals that reflect the brand( customize social media pages, e.g Instagram, twitter, tiktok, Facebook, youtube etc).


• Stay updated with social media trends and tools including attending networking and educational events and reading blogs.


• Continue to refine and redefine the brand social marketing process and brand merchandise.


• Work with teams to create a solid branding message that reflects across brand marketing materials, social media content to be shared by employees.

Qualifications

• 3+years of social media and marketing experience with possible account management experience.


• Demonstrable knowledge of market research techniques.


• Great interpersonal skills


• Knowledge of social media and related analytics software.


• Working knowledge of paid social media advertising campaigns in Nigeria, Facebook, twitter and youtube.


• Ability to blog about social media on the brand websites bases on research, experience and relevant social media news.


• Degree in marketing, communication, or related field.
