Job Description
As a Digital Project Manager (f/*/m), you will:
- Understand the goal of our clients and translate them into conceptual, design, and technical solutions
- Guide a variety of projects, work with capacity planning, estimations, and workflows
- Work with clients in South Africa, the UK, and Europe
- Work with colleagues in the Americas, South Africa, Nigeria, Ghana, the UK, and Serbia
- Suggest improvements and new functionalities, which can solve clients' concerns
- Play a Quality Control role to take care that highest standards are met
- Take responsibility of planning, review, estimation, and project retrospective meetings
- Regularly brief the client and internal team about the status of the project with regards to budget, progress, and timing
- Take responsibility for communication between all stakeholders, including the UX/design team, development team, and clients
What you'll bring:
- At least 2 years of experience in digital project management/ product ownership in a web agency (or similar, such as web/software/project management)
- Experience working within a remote/distributed team
- Experience with budget responsibility (e.g. responsible for the direction and tracking the project budget)
- Excellent written and spoken English
- Excellent deadline and time management skills for both yourself and your team
- Excellent client communication (email, Slack, video conferencing)
- Experience working asynchronously across multiple time zones
- Experience working with a team towards a common goal like a launch date or other deadline
- Experience with managing their own and other team members' task lists and pushing tasks over the line and following up timeously on incomplete tasks
- Experience following internal processes
