Job Functions

• Receive stocks and keep adequate record of items


• Control inventory levels by conducting physical counts and reconciling with data storage system


• Plan and coordinate ordering, receiving, inspecting, loading, unloading, packing, shelving, labeling, delivering, etc.


• Maintain operations compliance with quality, safety, work rules etc


• Maintain a clean and safe warehouse environment


• Strictly follow standards relating to storage, handling, and/or distribution


• Reports warehouse issues in a timely manner to the Line Manager for intervention


• Updates stock cards promptly and regularly


• Participate in all stock counting activities (monthly, quarterly, and yearly) according to guidelines and schedules


• Receive all stocks that are delivered to the warehouses and update them on the system


• Issue out all out-going stocks (physically and on system)


• Ensures materials, stocks or items in the warehouse are properly arranged


• Monitors loaders activities to ensure full truck utilization for all outbound loading


• Proper documentation and filing of all inbound and outbound activities, while other details are maintained up to date


• Ensure accurate stocks are received as listed, while major discrepancies are escalated for prompt resolution

Skills and Requirements:

• Minimum of HND or B Sc. from reputable institution


• Deep sense of honesty and integrity


• Proficiency in Microsoft office packages


• Prior experience in similar position is desirable


• Good communication skills (oral and written)


• Data savvy


• Attention to details
