Job Summary

• A Dispatch Rider is responsible for delivering products like food and fashion accessories to customers. Your main duties include driving a delivery motorcycle, delivering items in a timely manner, and communicating with both customers and the organization.

Job Description

• Manage multiple orders, delivery locations, and customers at the same time


• Deliver orders within an optimal period of time, ensuring the freshness of food and respect for customer preferences


• Safely operate a Motorcycle in all types of weather conditions


• Ability to use a smartphone


• Ability to use google map


• Ability to understand traffic signs and obey traffic laws


• Excellent communication skill


• Ability to read and write


• Must have a presentable look


• Good riding experience in riding bikes with a capacity of 200cc and above


• Communicate clearly with customers and food service employees, demonstrating an eagerness to work through any issues or points of confusion


• Verify orders before each delivery and maintain a detailed, comprehensive delivery log


• Must observe all HSE driving-related policies to ensure the consistent safety of documents and motorcycle


• Report to on all matters relating to assigned motorcycle to the supervisor


• Responsible for updating the Drivers’ Logbook on a daily basis with the required information.


• Must ensure that assigned motorcycle documents/ particulars are updated and valid.


• Must ensure that the motorcycle is cleaned routinely or when the need arises.


• Responsible for carrying out the daily inspection on the general condition of assigned motorcycle and must properly lock motorcycle when there is a need to leave them unattended.


• Responsible for internal and external item distribution when necessary.


• Record information, such as items received and delivered


• Dispatch riders sign for the package on the collection and get an appropriate person to sign for it upon delivery


• Any other duty that may be assigned from time to time.

Requirements

• Interested candidates should possess an OND / SSCE qualification with 2 - 3 years work experience.
