- The role will be responsible for administering all aspects of examinations and certification processes; ensuring the standards, validity, and fairness of curriculum and exam procedures; and working with partners responsible for setting, marking, and reviewing questions and question papers.
Job Responsibilities
- Contribute to the operational management of the central examinations team.
- Enter students for examinations.
- Oversee the conduct of examinations and ensure full compliance with examinations.
- Collect and collate achievement data to enable the association to measure the performance of candidates
- Develop and maintain an excellent working relationship with designated examination partners and be responsible to them for the administration of their procedures.
- Monitor information received from the examining partners and take follow-up action to ensure that the association complies with new or revised requirements.
- Disseminate information to staff and students to ensure that they are aware, and to protect the association’s corporate image.
- Maintain accurate up-to-date records of examination entries, timetables, attendance, results, and achievement data, using electronic data systems to ensure efficient and effective management and reporting of data.
- Work with relevant committees of the association to ensure standards
- Perform any other duty assigned by the executive secretary.
Qualification and Requirements
- Minimum of HND / B.Sc. in any discipline.
- A Master’s Degree or professional qualification would be added advantage.
- At least, five (5) years of experience in teaching and examinations.
