Job Description
The Content and Social Futures Lead will report to the Head of Marketing and Communications. The successful candidate will help plan, manage and oversee all aspects of a digital marketing campaign to effectively promote the brand’s product. Their duties include planning a digital campaign, delegating responsibilities to the marketing team and measuring the performance analytics of a campaign.
What You'll Do:
- Social Media Marketing and Online Content
- Plan and execute across all social media and online marketing platforms, including SEO/SEM, marketing database, email, social media and display advertising campaigns.
- Handling strategic online content development and marketing initiatives
- Leading marketing campaigns from the idea stage through to their execution and implementation
- Monitoring and evaluating online media campaigns to keep them fresh and effective
- Directing the hiring of marketing and promotions staff and supervising their work
- Negotiating advertising contracts
- Working with other department heads and staff to discuss plans and marketing strategies
- Collaborating with finance staff to set and stay within budget
- Staying current with emerging opportunities in the digital marketing world
- Measure and report the performance of all digital marketing campaigns, and assess against goals (ROI and KPIs)
- Identify trends and insights, and optimize spend and performance based on the insights
- Brainstorm new and creative growth strategies
- Plan, execute, and measure experiments and conversion tests
- Collaborate with internal teams to create landing pages and optimize the user experience
- Utilize the strong analytical ability to evaluate end-to-end customer experience across multiple channels and customer touchpoints.

- Development and applications of relevant content formats - audio, verbal, visual - on web, blog, and across social media platforms.
- Management, tracking and deployment of content on mobile, social and online channels.
- Develop annual Content Calendar for the Company
- Maintaining our social media presence across all digital channels
- Prepares annual event calendar.
- Develop a robust and effective execution roadmap for content requirements that assures a successful campaign internal and external.
- Management & Other Responsibilities:
- Support the activities of the Head of Marketing and Communications.

Qualifications/Requirements:
- A minimum of BSc in any discipline and 5+ years of successful marketing communication experience or previous experience shows the use of skills necessary to execute this position successfully
- Proven experience creating targeted content is advantageous.
- Strong leadership skills and ability to thrive in a results-oriented environment
- An affinity for current digital technologies is essential
- Strong knowledge and proficiency in data software: Microsoft Office Suite (required), CRM (preferably Salesforce.com)
- Excellent oral and written communication skills and strategic listening skills are necessary to effectively exercise tact, discretion, judgement, and diplomacy when interacting and/or negotiating with all levels of internal and external customers
- Strong organizational skills - attention to detail and Self-Motivator - willing to take the initiative
- BS/MS degree in marketing or a related field
- Proven working experience in digital marketing
- Demonstrable experience leading and managing SEO/SEM, marketing database, email, social media and/or display advertising campaigns
- Highly creative with experience in identifying target audiences and devising digital campaigns that engage, inform and motivate
- Experience in optimizing landing pages and user funnels
- Experience with A/B and multivariate experiments
- Solid knowledge of website analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, NetInsight, Omniture, WebTrends)
- Working knowledge of ad serving tools (e.g., DART, Atlas)
- Experience in setting up and optimizing Google Adwords campaigns
- Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript development and constraints
- Strong analytical skills and data-driven thinking
- Up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in online marketing and measurement
- You have strong expertise in managing relationships, networks, and teams that include a diverse group of people representative of the public and private sectors, community-based organizations, nonprofits, and civic leaders as well as program beneficiaries.
