Mission / Core purpose of the Job: (Short description)



  • To direct the process and procedure which governs planning efforts across all BILAAD REALTY projects.

  • To represent the General Manager as relief officer whenever he is away from his duty post.

Key Performance Areas

Core, essential responsibilities / outputs of the position (KPA's)


Role Complexity:



  • Schedule and resource planning across all projects.

  • Oversight on project specific inventory management.

  • Coordinating of design from conceptualization to production of complete working drawings.

  • Budget Planning & Implementation across projects.

  • Ensure proper documentation (archiving, indexing and storage) in soft and hard copies for ease of reference and transaction(s).

  • Supervise, mentor, and build leadership capabilities within subunit and amongst core team members


Supervisory / Leadership / Managerial Complexity:



  • Ensure compliance of all planning deliverables with BILAAD REALTY’s policies and procedures

  • Lead and advise on all aspects of Planning and implementation in line with overall company’s policies and procedures

  • Ensure the effective allocation and utilization of company’s resources

  • Ensure quality service delivery as it relates to expected outcomes of resource allocation and deployment.


Lateral Dimensions of the Position

Creativities (improvement/innovation inherent):



  • Planning Operations Management

  • Optimization as it concerns effectiveness/efficiency of resource distribution.

  • Inventory Management concerns in collaboration with Senior Procurement & Supply Chain Mgt & Head, Central Procurement & Supply Chain Management.

  • Balancing short term tactics with longer term business sustainability


Vulnerabilities (Control Span):



  • Relationship Management (internal & external stakeholders)


Collaboration

Responsibility towards:



  • Head, PMO

  • Direct reports (to CTO when in acting capacity as relief officer)

  • All subordinates

Minimum Requirements

Education:



  • Bachelor’s Degree in a Relevant Field

  • An MBA would be an added advantage

  • A project management certification


Experience:



  • A minimum of 7years cognate experience which includes at least 4years at a senior management level


Training:



  • Leadership skills.

  • Cost management.

  • Budget Planning, Control & Management.

  • Inventory Management.

  • Project management skills.

  • Design Costing.
