Job Description
IT support officer will be responsible for the smooth running of computer systems, routers, switches, internet and ensure users get maximum benefits from them.
Responsibilities
- Monitoring and maintaining computer systems and networks.
- Troubleshooting system and network problems, diagnosing and solving hardware or software faults.
- Setting up new user accounts, and profiles and dealing with password issues.
- Responding in a timely manner to service issues and requests.
- Repairing and replacing faulty equipment as necessary.
- Maintaining procedures and reports that provide technical support to the entire organization.

Qualifications
- BSc in Computer Science/Engineering, or related field
- Minimum of 3 years’ cognate experience
- Knowledge of systems engineering, computer maintenance, server administration, installation, repair and troubleshooting.
- Knowledge of computer networking, LAN, WLAN installation, configuration, troubleshooting.
- Good interpersonal skills, should be able to interact with all staff across all level and cadre
- Creative, open to new ideas and ability to multi-task effectively
- High level of attention to detail and well-organized
- Quick learning ability and apt problem-solving skills
