Job Description
Job Summary:
The Store Officer supports the coordination of store activities daily; Creates schedules, monitor stock levels at the warehouse and knows when to replenish stock. He/She is focused on time, making sure every item of stock gets to its destination on time, and that there are no shortages on shelves.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Attend to internal and external customer requests for stock items promptly. Process stock requisitions and issue stock items; Liaise with logistics for dispatch as required.
- Support to create and maintain budgets, and coordinate with and report to senior management.
- Receive, unpack, check and allocate purchased stock items into store. Attend to discrepancies where necessary.
Qualification/Skill Required
- B.Sc. in Engineering, Business Administration, Economics or Finance
- 3+ years of demonstrable experience in store/warehouse
- Excellent verbal communication and team working skills.
- Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to keep accurate records.
