Job Description
To support the Accounting Manager in the oversight of the financial management function in West Africa, deliver accurate and timely financial reports, manage accounts payable, and provide support for statutory filings and audits in the region.
- Support audit / tax queries as required.
- Manage accounts payable and vendor relationships.
- Provision of financial reports as required.
- Maintain petty cash system and project expense processing.
- Support month-end reporting and posting of financial transactions.
- Prepare balance sheet reconciliations.
- Support in the production of local tax reports.
- Payroll accounting.
- Proactively suggest ideas for process improvement
Requirements
- Excellent written and verbal communicator.
- Ability to comply with statutory requirements and deadlines.
- Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills.
- Recognised accounting qualification, with significant experience - essential.
- Experience of Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations -preferred.
