Job Description
The Scope of work is, but not limited to the following;
- Day to Day Management of social media page for the program.
- Engage with similar agricultural programs building and expanding the program’s network.
- Build online community driving and eliciting conversations from stakeholders.
- Support the development of program materials with graphic design.
- Identify digital tools that will ensure effective and efficient dissemination of knowledge to smallholder farmers in rural areas.
- Develop and Manage picture portfolio for the program.
- Provide feedback on trends on social media platforms that will improve the program’s visibility.
- Support in the review of program documents.
- Any other job assigned.
Position Location
- This position will be based in Abuja (Nigeria), but candidate should be available to travel when called upon.
Required Experience
Position Qualifications:
- Solid design and editing programs skills
- Knowledge of web design and content management systems.
- Ability to handle digital and social media effectively
- Proficient in Microsoft Office programs, such as Excel
- Good time management and organizational skills
- work to use graphics and social media to create and disseminate HortiNigeria’ s message to its stakeholder to increase the program’s outreach and engagement with its target audience.
Level of effort – This input is effective immediately.
Reporting – The position will report to and support the Communication Coordinator.
Previous work experience with IFDC program will be an added advantage.
