Job Description

• Inform and advise the business, management, employees and third parties who carry out data processing operations, about their obligations under the NDPR and GDPR and any applicable data protection law


• Monitor compliance with the GDPR and NDPR and any other applicable data protection provisions.


• Monitor compliance with the NDPR and with the organization's own data protection objectives.


• Provide advice when needed as regards the data protection impact assessment and monitor its performance.


• Act as a contact point for the supervisory authority on issues related to data processing, including prior consultation on the data protection impact assessment and, where appropriate, advise on all other issues:


• Act as a contact point for the exercise of data subjects' rights, and process their inquiries related to data processing activities.

Requirements

• HND or Bachelor’s Degree in any related course.


• Minimum of 2 years of experience in data protection compliance or related field


• Expertise in data protection laws and practices, including deep understanding of NDPR and GDPR


• Ability to promote a data protection culture within the organization.


• Strong project management skills.


• Ability to work effectively under pressure and to manage sensitive and confidential information


• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with strong attention to detail.
