Job Description

• Scrutinizing incoming spare part orders to insure that part numbers/descriptions correlate to what is physically received and stock counts balance to the waybills and other shipping documents.


• Ensure that the outgoing spare part orders are accurately fulfilled and that despatch documents strictly adhere to company rules, policies, and procedure requirements.


• Operate the forklift truck in a safe and efficient manner, with compliance with prescribed work methods.


• Perform daily mechanical inspection of forklift trucks and immediately report any faults to the warehouse supervisor.


• Responsible for keeping forklift trucks clean and in good order.


• Adherence to housekeeping and all health and safety protocols and procedures within the spare parts warehouse.


• Unloading materials and merchandise from incoming vehicles and stacking them in assigned places.


• Locating and moving stock of products to pallets or crates for storage or shipment


• Identifying damages and reporting shortages or quality deficiencies.


• Proven experience as a forklift operator.

Requirements

• Candidates should possess an SSCE / GCE / NECO qualification with 2 - 5 years work experience.
