Job Description

• Driving children and staff daily to their desired destinations


• Maintaining the vehicle safe and clean


• Using navigation apps to determine the best route

Responsibilities

• Map out driving routes ahead of time to determine the most expedient trip


• Pick up kids from their homes and drive them home after school


• Obey all traffic rules and regulations


• Maintain the speed limit set by the institution


• Adjust the route to avoid heavy traffic needed


• Ensure the car seats are clean and comfortable for all riders


• Schedule regular car service appointments and report any issues


• Assist in other jobs as will be directed by the supervisor.

Requirements

• SSCE and Basic English communication ability


• Proven experience as a Driver


• A valid driver’s license


• Minimum visual acuity of 20/50 (or corrected to 20/50)


• Familiarity with GPS devices


• Knowledge of area roads and neighborhoods


• Availability to occasionally take weekend shifts


• A polite and professional disposition


• Ability to remain calm in stressful driving situations (e.g. at rush hour).
