DUTIES:

• Assist in rearing of insect and collection of different insect pest for exhibition.


• Assist in data collection and entry.


• Carry out maintenance of entomology trials.


• Assist mapping out field layout and establish experimental trials.


• Perform general field maintenance, harvesting, processing and drying


• Perform any other job-related task as may be assigned by the Supervisor.

QUALIFICATION:

• National Diploma in Agriculture or any other related field with a minimum of two (3) years’ experience performing a similar role in a well-structured environment.

COMPETENCIES:

The ideal candidate must:

• Have good communication skills (writing, reading, and speaking).


• Ability to use basic Microsoft software (word, excel, PowerPoint).


• Have the ability to work with little or no supervision.
