Job Summary

• We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced News Editor to join our team at our television station.


• The News Editor will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our news department, including the planning, research, and production of all news content.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the planning, research, and production of daily news programs


• Manage and supervise a team of reporters, producers, and other news staff


• Coordinate coverage of major events and breaking news stories


• Ensure the accuracy and credibility of all news content


• Maintain strong relationships with news sources and community leaders

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Journalism or related fields


• Proven experience as a News Editor or similar role in a television newsroom


• Strong leadership and management skills


• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills


• Strong knowledge of current events and ability to identify relevant stories


• Experience working with a team in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
