Job Summary

• We are looking for a highly motivated and organized News Producer to join our team at Television.


• As a News Producer, you will play a crucial role in the production of our daily news program.


• You will be responsible for researching, writing, and producing news segments, coordinating with reporters and anchors, and ensuring that the program runs smoothly and on time.

Key Responsibilities

• Research and gather news stories and information for the daily news program


• Write and produce news segments for the program


• Coordinate with reporters and anchors to ensure that all segments are ready for air


• Supervise and direct the work of video editors, photographers, and other production staff


• Ensure that the program runs smoothly and on time


• Stay current on local, national, and international news developments

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Journalism, Communications or a related field


• 2-3 years of experience in news production


• Strong writing and editing skills


• Strong organizational and time-management skills


• Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines


• Experience with editing software such as Avid, Final Cut Pro, or Adobe Premiere is a plus.
