  • Monitor and manage petty cash

  • Proper vetting of expenses before disbursement 

  • Maintain proper records of daily transactions in the accounting software program.

  • Prepare weekly and monthly reconciliation of cash and bank accounts.

  • Prepare monthly sales VAT, PAYE and ensure prompt remittance.

  • Monitor all the organization's accounts and report outstanding balances on a weekly basis.

  • Ensure proper classification of accounting software.

  • Prepare/Approve project invoices, ensuring customer satisfaction during and after-sales.

  • Work with CFO/MD in project costing and billing, preparing approved budgets per project.

  • Ensure project expenses are tracked in alignment with the approved budget.

  • Timely payment of utility bills, suppliers, and vendors payments to facilitate project execution.

  • Assists the sales team in revenue generation as the management may deem fit e.g attending client briefing meetings.

  • Timely issuance of receipts/invoices for payments to clients.

  • Manage all receivables ensuring the collation and collection of outstanding payments.

  • Working with external consultants in inventory audits, financial audits and HR/Accounts related activities.

  • Assist with the organization's procurement process.

  • Ensure adherence to all major financial rules and regulations especially those stated in the organization's financial and operations manual.

  • Attend to other duties as assigned by management.
